The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut, (MCCT), is a nonprofit organization that brings together Muslims in Connecticut to provide an understanding of Islam and Muslims through education and outreach.
MCCT was formed to seek unity within the Muslim community in Connecticut and through unified efforts provide much needed social support services in the community, foster youth leadership and provide an accurate portrayal of Islam through our works.
I would like to highlight some interesting activities that are coming up soon so please contact us if you would like to attend or participate in any of them.
1. Mercy shelter serve December 24, 2011
We will be serving lunch at Mercy Shelter in Hartford, CT on December 24th and will gather at 11:30am to heat the food and prepare the serving area – lunch is served at 12 noon sharp. This is a tremendous opportunity to serve the Hartford Community. As the weather will be getting particularly cold we will be collecting new socks and gloves to give to the homeless - PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.

We will be serving lunch at Mercy Shelter in Hartford, CT on December 24th and will gather at 11:30am to heat the food and prepare the serving area – lunch is served at 12 noon sharp. This is a tremendous opportunity to serve the Hartford Community.
3. National Day of Service - Martin Luther King Day January 16, 2012. Towel drive : In the month of January we will be collecting new bath towels for the homeless shelters in Hartford, CT. If you would like to donate towels or money for this cause please let us know
